Terms of use
Short, plain terms for a free record of your pets' care. By using Paw Carnet you agree to them.

Who we are
Paw Carnet is published by Vitaly Bibikov, an individual, who is the controller of the information described on this site and decides how it is used. Write to support@pawcarnet.com for anything about your pets' records or your account.
"We" means the business named above. You can reach us at support@pawcarnet.com.
What Paw Carnet is, and is not
Paw Carnet keeps a record of your pets' vaccinations, weights and reminders, and offers free vaccine schedules, travel step tables, care guides and an emergency page.
Paw Carnet is not veterinary, legal or travel advice. It cannot examine your pet or tell what is wrong with it. The vaccine schedules show windows from published guidelines; your vet sets the actual dates. If your pet is unwell or hurt, call your vet or an emergency clinic.
The travel step tables cite the official source of every rule and the date we last checked it. Rules change, and the destination authority decides whether your pet may enter. Check with it and with your vet before you travel.
Records are entered by you and are not an official document. A Paw Carnet record is not a pet passport, an animal health certificate or proof of vaccination.
Accounts
You must be 16 or older to create an account. Before your first account is created we ask the year you were born, and we do not create an account for anyone younger.
You sign in with Google or with a link we e-mail you. Keep that e-mail account secure: anyone who can sign in to it can open your Paw Carnet records.
An account is for one person and the pets in their household. Do not sign in as someone else.
What you enter
Do not upload or enter documents about your own health; they are not supported.
That includes emotional-support-animal letters, service or assistance dog papers that describe a disability, and your own prescriptions. Enter only what is about your animals, and only the details of other people (such as a clinic's name) that the record needs.
What you enter stays yours. You let us store it, show it to you and use it to send the reminders you ask for, and nothing else. You can download all of it, or delete any of it, at any time.
Reminders
Reminders come by e-mail and to your calendar. They depend on the dates you enter and on e-mail and calendar services we do not control, so a reminder can arrive late or not at all. Keep your vet's record and your pet's papers as the record that counts, and treat our reminders as a help, not a guarantee.
Some calendar apps ignore the alarm inside a calendar file. When you add one, check that the alert appears.
Price, and Pro
Paw Carnet is free. Pro is not open. Pressing a Pro option records interest only; nothing is charged and no card is asked for. If we introduce paid plans, nothing is ever charged without your confirmation.
If something on the free list ever moves to Pro, we will e-mail you 60 days before, and it stays free for pets you already added.
If we decide not to launch Pro, everyone who pressed a Pro option gets this message:
We've decided not to launch Pro for now. Nothing you use today changes: everything on the free list stays free. Anything Pro made for you stays on your pet's card. Nothing was ever charged, and we have deleted your "I'd want Pro" note.
If we close Paw Carnet
If we decide to close Paw Carnet, we will tell every account holder by e-mail, and say so on this site, at least 90 days before it closes.
- Reminders keep sending, as you set them, for the whole notice period.
- Before we close, you get a final e-mail that lists every future due date for each of your pets, with a calendar file of every future reminder and a link to download your whole record.
- After closing, we delete the records as the privacy notice describes.
We will not leave Paw Carnet half-running: either reminders keep sending with someone responsible for them, or we close it under this clause.
Fair use
- Do not try to open another person's account or records.
- Do not overload the service, scrape it in bulk or get around its limits.
- Do not use the sign-in or e-mail features to send mail to people who did not ask for it.
- Do not copy our pages to publish them as your own; link to them instead.
Our responsibility
We take reasonable care to keep Paw Carnet working, accurate and secure, and we correct errors when we find them or you tell us. Each schedule, rule and guide shows its source and date so that you can check it.
Paw Carnet is free and offered as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for decisions about your pet's care or travel made on the basis of the site alone, or for a reminder that did not arrive.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, and nothing affects your rights as a consumer.
Ending your use
You can stop at any time and delete your account from your account page. We may suspend an account that breaks the fair-use rules above; unless it would cause harm, we will tell you first and give you the chance to download your records.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change, the date at the top changes too. If a change matters to you, we e-mail account holders at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you do not agree, you can download your records and delete your account before then.
Law and disputes
If you live in the UK or the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim there. Please write to support@pawcarnet.com first: most problems are quicker to fix than to argue about.
